Acid-free tissue paper (for old newspaper clippings)- where buy?
I have some old newspaper clippings that I’d like to store, and I’ve read that sheets of “acid-free tissue paper” placed in between each newspaper clipping will make them last longer.
What type of store should I go to for the tissue paper? Stationery stores? Paper supply stores? Crafts stores, like Jo-Ann Crafts? Hobby stores? I’d rather not order it online.
Inexpensive is good. I’m not looking for museum/archival-type preservation. I just want to give the newspaper articles a little protection.
Thanks much!
Look for craft tissue. It is acid free. You can find this in Michael’s and Hobby Lobby.
