October Costume??
I have a party to go to and we all dress as a different month. I am going to be October so I was thinking Halloween. It says be creative but I don’t know if a witch is creative. We are going to takes pictures and make a calendar. Plz help!!!
I am 12 and here are the things I have to work with. I don’t want to buy anything new though.
-everyday clothes
-formal clothes
-pink, purple, black wigs
-pirate costume
-witch costumes
-black cat (not a real one)
-Various trick or treat bags
-Cheerleader outfit
-princess things (tiara and a princess hat specifically, and maybe a dress have to check)
-Capes(i dont know why)
-More pirate outfits
-devil costume
-goddess costume (if i can beg it out of my sister)
-spiders and other halloween decor.
-various halloween stuffed animals (again i dont know why)
-craft supplies
remember it has to be creative!!!!please keep it within a two hour assembly time. Thank you so much!!!!
First off, don’t go as something like a cheerleader or a princess. Halloween costumes are meant to be scary, and people may not understand a costume that isn’t.
Your best bet is probably a witch. Throw on a long, black skirt with any old black shirt and a black witch hat. If you want, cut the ends of your skirt and sleeves into jagged edges. Throw on your black wig and some Halloween decor. Tape some spiders onto your skirt and if you’d like, ask your mom to sew on a black stuffed cat onto your leg.
You could also go as a vampire. Throw on your witch costume without the hat. Put on the black wig and one of your capes. Tape on spiders on yourself and tape little black bats on your outfit.
Add a bit of Halloween as well. Maybe tape some candy onto your skirt and carry a pumpkin bucket? If you’re allowed, use face paint or bright eyeshadow to draw various October designs, including a pumpkin, leaf or bat. Anything having to do with fall and Halloween should do well. Wear bloody red lip stick, white powder and dramatic eye makeup if you want. You’re a bit young for make-up, but since this is a Halloween theme, i think it’d be very appropriate. If you decide to go as the vampire, add litte dots on the side of your mouth to be “drops of blood”.
